Our Legacy and Rising Star Awards are a tribute to the remarkable achievements of women who have made significant impacts on local, state, and/or national government.

Rising Star Award
The Rising Star Award is dedicated to recognizing exceptional women who, within their first 10 years of service, have demonstrated excellence and made a significant impact in their professions. This award celebrates the promising achievements of those on the rise in government service.
🌐 Nominate a rising star for the Rising Star Award: Rising Star Award Nomination
Eligibility:
- Women who have been in their profession for 10 years or less.
- Open to roles in local, state, and/or national government, including elected officials, public employees, and those in the private sector interacting with government.
Legacy Award
The Legacy Award is a prestigious accolade for women who have left an indelible mark on government service. This award is open to women who have demonstrated remarkable professionalism, made significant contributions to government, and have become role models for others.
🌐 Nominate a deserving individual for the Legacy Award: Legacy Award Nomination
Eligibility:
- Women with significant professional contributions to local, state, and/or national government.
- Inclusive of elected officials, public employees, and individuals interacting with government through the private sector.
Award recipients will be informed of their selection and honored at the Annual Wisconsin Women in Government Scholarship & Recognition Gala on April 10, 2024.
